From Insecurity to Stage

Hey everyone! For those who don’t know me, my name is Adam.

I first met Kat when I was 21. I was studying full time and was very skinny and physically insecure. Kat quickly became an amazing mentor and friend to me as I navigated pursuing a career in the arts as well as trying to feel more confident and stronger.

In my last year of studying, I auditioned for my first professional musical. The role I was going in for required me to wear very revealing costumes and have my legs on show! A role I would never have considered for myself before I met this inspiring woman. I bloody got the job!!

I have been fortunate enough to work consistently on stage ever since. I have landed roles in several Professional Musicals – La Cage Aux Folles, Funny Girl, Matilda The Musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. I’ve also co-written, co-produced and starred in the new Australian feature film SPENCER, which won ‘Best Picture – People’s Choice’ at PQFF.

I owe Katrina so much. She instilled confidence in me that I never thought I would have. I never thought I would say that I enjoy going to the gym. EVER! But I do!! (However, I do miss training in Melbourne with Kat and dancing around to Madonna and David Bowie in between sets)

I’ve been touring for many months, and I take all I learned from KATFIT with me. Good nutrition, correct training technique and a love for myself that I’d always wanted when I was that skinny 21-year-old drama student.

If you haven’t already, tell your friends/family/strangers at Woolworths, to get on board the KATFIT train! She changes lives.

I am the fittest and healthiest I have ever been, and I owe it all to my fierce and fabulous trainer Kat.

Kickass everyone!

Much love, Adam Noviello
